"THAT a letter be sent to Rich Coleman, Minister Responsible for Housing, requesting an amendment to the BC Building Code to require the rough-in installation of Level 2 electric vehicle infrastructure in new multi-family construction; AND THAT, in the absence of legislative change, the Town explore incentives for the rough-in installation of Level 2 electric vehicle infrastructure in new multi-family construction such as reduction to parking requirements and increased density.
