The RCMP provided a report on crime statistics and new mental health response technology.
"Supt. Gillespie introduced himself and detailed an 18% increase in person offenses and a 26% increase in property offenses across the West Shore. He highlighted the implementation of 'Health IM,' a mobile application allowing officers to transmit data to the hospital en route to reduce wait times during Mental Health Act apprehensions. Council members questioned the concentration of crime and wait times at Victoria General Hospital."

Superintendent Preston provided statistics and updates on recent policing activities in View Royal.
"Discussion covered the rollout of body-worn cameras (expected June 2025), a series of mental health crises involving a youth with a weapon, and policing numbers at the casino. Councillor Rogers expressed concern over a stabbing incident at VGH."
