Environmental Development Permit No. 2020/06 - Dock Application - Shoreline and Natural Watercourse Development Permit Area - 275 Kerwood Street

The application for a dock development permit was received, with Council voicing concerns about the need for shared moorage and the large size of the structure.

"This application covered the dock component (ramp and float), requiring a variance to the foreshore setback (15m to 0m). Council noted that granting this variance would be counterproductive to the policy of encouraging shared docks or not impeding future adjacent development. Given the unresolved boathouse issue and the large scale of the proposed dock, Council again rejected the underlying variance request."
