"THAT Council dispose of the following four vacant properties in perpetuity to the Capital Regional District for a total combined price of $927,500: Lot 1, Section 98, Esquimalt District, Plan VIP82842 (PID 027-015-939); Lot A, Section 98, Esquimalt District, Plan EPP87454 (PID 030-872-081); A portion of “That Part of Section 98, Esquimalt District Shown Dedicated as Park on Plan EPP55963”; and A portion of “That Part of Section 98, Esquimalt District Shown Dedicated as Park on Plan EPP71784”; AND THAT these properties, adjacent to Mill Hill Regional Park, be placed under a covenant to ensure the properties are used only for park purposes, protected and preserved substantially in their natural state, and managed and maintained as part of the regional park system once they are owned by the Capital Regional District; AND FURTHER THAT proceeds from the sale be placed to the credit of a reserve fund for future park land acquisition."
