Council rejected a proposal to lower the speed limit to 30 km/h on a portion of Atkins Road.
"Councillor Rogers argued for consistency and safety on a narrow road used by vulnerable pedestrians. Staff noted the road design fits a 40 km/h limit better according to professional standards, and there is a parallel trail (Galloping Goose) for safety."
