Council voted to make the rail corridor project a priority for the next Council to ensure it isn't forgotten after the upcoming election.
"Mayor Tobias (speaking as an ICF director) asked that the corridor initiative be made a strategic priority for the incoming Council to prevent loss of momentum during the transition. Councilor Mattson noted significant progress has been made during this term despite previous provincial skepticism."
