The CRD's Chief Bylaw Officer provided an update on animal control services and regional trail patrols.
"Mark Groulx updated the committee on animal control, mentioning that a new 'aggressive dog' declaration tool is proving effective. He also discussed the expanded role of animal control officers patrolling regional trails and managing homeless encampments within a limited distance from the trails. Councillor Brown inquired about the status of the CRD animal shelter lease/purchase near Elk Lake."
