Council voted to investigate how to reduce or end their involvement in the regional arts fund after feeling the town wasn't getting its fair share.
"Councillor Mattson argued the Western communities see little benefit for the $1.5M they've contributed over years. Councillor Rogers proposed moving to 'Tier 2' funding to redirect money to a local West Shore arts center. Councillor Lemon opposed the timing of the motion, noting it was the end of the term."
