Letter received July 8, 2024 from L. Pakos, Re: Sidewalk on Glenairlie Drive

"Councillor Lemon argued for a safe route for children walking to View Royal Elementary, stressing the need for a sidewalk extension to the schoolyard gate on Rudyard Road. Councillor Rogers noted that staff had recently cut back overgrown vegetation to improve safety in the short term, but cautioned that a full sidewalk would require a costly retaining wall due to the considerable drop-off. Council voted to refer the project for cost assessment during the 2025 budget deliberations."
