"Council reviewed the permitted zones for election signs. Staff added a new zone (Zone 1) near the pedestrian overpass. Councillor Rogers strongly opposed the bylaw, arguing that the Aldersmith area was unfairly excluded from sign zones and that the limit of 27 small signs across the town was unfair to candidates with lower budgets."
