"THAT Council authorize the issuance of Development Variance Permit No. 07/08 which would have the effect of relaxing: Section 49 (2)(e) of Land Use Bylaw, 1990, No. 35, to allow for an LED Flashing Sign; On the property described as Lot A, Section 98, Esquimalt District, Plan 27155 (1681 Island Highway), SUBJECT TO the applicant entering into a restrictive covenant, prior to issuance of the sign permit, that would restrict the flashing sign to having static images for a minimum of thirty (30) seconds (change interval), control display brightness sign, and limit the size of the LED sign to a maximum of 0.91 metres (3'-0") by 2.46 metres (8'-1"); all to the satisfaction of the Town of View Royal."
