"THAT Provisional Development Permit No. 05/07 (Great Canadian Gaming Corporation) be amended by: * including the statement "That the Town strongly encourages the applicant to provide an environmentally green-roofed building, and at a minimum, provide roof landscaping to the Casino building to soften the esthetics of the roof."; * mandating that no left turns be permitted out of the entrance/exit abutting onto the Island Highway; and * altering section 6.22 by requiring the maximum noise level emitted from any roof-top equipment to be not more than 50dBA at all times. AND THAT Provisional Development Permit No. 05/07 be authorized for issuance for the property described as Lot A, (DD ES48097) Section 104, Esquimalt district, Plan 39031 (1708 Island Highway), SUBJECT TO the amended terms and conditions outlined in Schedule 1 of the draft Permit attached to the staff report dated January 16, 2008."
