E&N Rail Trail Project Phase 1 Support

"THAT Council strongly support Alternative 1 for Phase 1 of the E & N Rail Trail project with construction beginning in the east near downtown Victoria and extending westerly to the Thetis Lake (Highway 1) interchange; AND THAT bridge work for both the Island Highway and Helmken Road crossings be tendered at this time; AND FURTHER THAT the Capital Regional District Parks Committee be requested to ensure that, under no circumstances, Phase 1 of the E&N Rail Trail project be terminated at the Island Highway crossing."
