11. NEW BUSINESS a) Advisory Committee Orientation The Director of Corporate Administration gave an orientation presentation to new and returning Advisory Committee members. The Committee members and staff discussed the term in relation to the upcoming municipal elections; the setting of agenda content through the Advisory Committee Chair; the need to confirm attendance to the Recording Secretary; and the need to have a quorum for a meeting to take place. It was noted that staff have been asked to undertake an Advisory Committee review and committee members will be apprised of that work as it progresses.
