c) Temporary Commercial Use Permit — 280 Wilfert Road

Report dated September 9, 2010 from the Senior Planner

Staff Recommendation:

THAT the Committee recommend to Council that it consider approval of Temporary Commercial Use Permit 2010/05, which will allow the operation of a sales centre at 280 Wilfert Road, at the October 5, 2010 Council meeting subject to noticing as per the requirements of the Local Government Act;

AND THAT the Permit include the following conditions:

That the Permit be valid until June 30, 2012, and
That employees not be permitted to park on site;

AND FURTHER THAT the Committee recommend to Council that it consider approval of Environmental Development Permit 2010/20 to allow the construction of a building at 280 Wilfert Road subject to the completion of a tree retention and preservation plan.
