Good day Council,
Read the article the other day regarding the bike lanes on Erskine Lane and council decision to install bollards.
The problem is not the bike lanes and parking therein, the problem is no one pays attention to the “No Parking” signs all along the lane way.
We have lived on Erskine Lane for more than 10 years and I can honestly say, it is a rare occurrence to see bikes on the Lane.
If the no parking was enforced, it would negate the bollard requirements.
Save $5000.00 and look at stricter enforcement of the “No Parking”.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Regards,
Arnold van Klaveren Unit 14 Erskine Lane
