Meeting Overview

Key Decisions

THAT the minutes of the Committee of the Whole meeting held October 10, 2017 be adopted.
THAT the report dated November 8, 2017 from the Director of Protective Services titled "Public Safety Report for September - October 2017" be received.
THAT the report from Insp. Chomyn titled "Westshore RCMP's View Royal Quarterly Mayor's Report" be received.
THAT the Committee recommend to Council that the Mayor write to the District of Saanich requesting a six month extension to the Town’s existing fire dispatch agreement; AND THAT the letter indicate View Royal Council’s strong belief that fire dispatch should be through a regional dispatch service.
