Hello,

I have some questions that I would like answered with this proposed development. I am not able to visit city hall at the posted hours. I would like to understand these points prior to the hearing so I can evaluate whether I attend or not.

  1. traffic congestion is high on Six Mile Rd both during rush hours, and particularly all day in the summer. What measures are being taken to relax traffic and improve flow if you want to put this many more vehicles on the road in the area with this development?

  2. with development, many communities have an offset requirement for greenspace to be created. What does View Royal have in place to offset development to ensure we have greenspace to address climate change and provision of ecosystem goods and services?

  3. what studies have been conducted on Thetis Lake Park to ensure its sustainable use over time? What information has been developed around the impact to the park as the result of people filling up 350 more units will have on park use? How will our regional park space benefit from additional direct neighbors?

Thank you. Morgan Kennah
