Dear Township of View Royal,
Thank you for the opportunity to provide our feedback on the proposed amendments to the Official Community Plan No. 811, 2011 and Zoning Bylaw No.900, 2014.
Please note, my family and I are not in favour of the Township of View Royal approving this application for the following reasons:
Removing the old growth trees will dramatically increased the noise pollution coming from the highway. With the increase in development in this community, there is evidence the loss of trees has increased the noise from the highway exponentially. Please note, a number of residents in the neighborhood have sited a number of old growth tress have been removed by the applicant Limona Group prior to receiving approval from the Township.
Our home also backs on to Robin Hill Park. One of the factors in purchasing our home was the green space. If this application is approved it may set a precedence for future applications to reduce green space in favor of profit.
Thank you for affording us the opportunity to be heard.
