a) Public Safety Building – Presentation by HCMA Architectural Team
b) Development Permit Application No. 2013/10– 1649 Lloyd Place
    1. Report dated May 15, 2013 from the Senior Planner........................ Pg. 14-55
    
    Staff Recommendation:
    THAT Development Permit No. 2013/10 be approved as per the plans attached to the May 15, 2013 report from the Senior Planner;
    
    AND THAT Development Permit No. 2013/10 include the following:
    * Variance to the maximum building height for Block A from 7.5m to 8.3m;
    * Variance to the maximum building height for Block B from 7.5m to 7.9m;
    * Variance to the required number of recreational vehicle parking spaces from three to zero;
    * Variance to the required number of buildings per parcel from one to three;
    * Condition to require a covenant to preserve additional land in a natural state prior to building permit issuance; and
    * Condition to include the recommendations and Tree Protection Plan from the arborists report.

Recommendations:
* F. Walker, Fenton Road, Re: Issues Arising from the Development at 24 Fenton Road
    1. THAT the Committee recommend to Council that the Town suspend installation of the pending street light on Fenton Road until there is resolution of the issue through further discussions. (COW-38-13)
* Town Hall Hours of Operation
    1. THAT the Committee recommend to Council that Town Hall hours of operation be established year-round as 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (COW-39-13)
* Zoning Bylaw Update
    1. THAT the Committee recommends to Council that the May 7, 2013 amended “Zoning Bylaw Review – Consultation Plan” prepared by Urban Systems be approved. (COW-40-13)
* Introduction of Draft Soil Deposit/Removal Bylaw
    1. THAT the Committee recommend to Council that the “Introduction of Draft Soil Deposit/Removal Bylaw” be referred to the Planning and Development Advisory Committee. (COW-41-13)
