GENERAL NOTES:
- CONTRACTOR TO VERIFY THE LOCATION AND INVERTS OF EXISTING WATER, STORM AND SANITARY CONNECTIONS TO THE SITE. REPORT TO THE ENGINEER ANY DISCREPANCIES PRIOR TO START OF CONSTRUCTION.
- ALL BUILDINGS & ROADS ARE TO BE LOCATED BY CO-ORDINATES AS CALCULATED BY A B.C. LAND SURVEYOR.
- CONSULT GAS DRAWINGS FOR GAS DISTRIBUTION WITHIN THE SITE.
- CONSULT ELECTRICAL DRAWINGS FOR AREA LIGHTING AND POWER DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM WITHIN SITE.
- THE CONTRACTOR MUST CONTACT THE ENGINEER PRIOR TO CONSTRUCTION TO SCHEDULE AN ON-SITE PRE-CONSTRUCTION MEETING DURING WHICH CONSTRUCTION METHODS, TIMING, AND INSPECTION WILL BE DISCUSSED.
- ALL WORKS TO CONFORM TO TOWN OF VIEW ROYAL (COVR) LAND USE BYLAW, 1990, No. 35, MASTER MUNICIPAL CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS (MMCD) AND STANDARD DETAIL DRAWINGS AS WELL AS BRITISH COLUMBIA PLUMBING CODE REQUIREMENTS (PART 7 OF THE BRITISH COLUMBIA BUILDING CODE). IN EVENT OF CONFLICT, MMCD SPECIFICATIONS TO TAKE PRECEDENCE OVER TOWN SPECIFICATIONS UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED ON DRAWINGS.
- ALL DIMENSIONS IN FEET UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED.
- THE CONTRACTOR SHALL MAINTAIN ALL MUNICIPAL ROADS PROVIDING ACCESS TO THE CONSTRUCTION SITE AND ARRANGE FOR DAILY STREET CLEANING DURING TIMES OF CONSTRUCTION OR MORE OFTEN IF REQUIRED.
- THE CONTRACTOR SHALL INFORM THE ENGINEER, TOWN, AND/OR CRD WATER SERVICES A MINIMUM OF 48 HOURS PRIOR TO REQUIRED INSPECTIONS.

- JOINTS IN FILTER FABRIC SHALL BE OVERLAPPED 6" AT POST.
- REMOVE SEDIMENT WHEN IT REACHES 1/3 FENCE HEIGHT.
- SILT FENCE IS TO BE 'BONTERRA Silt Fence Plus' OR EQUIVALENT AS APPROVED BY THE ENGINEER. FENCE TO HAVE MIN. CLEAR WATER FLOW RATE OF (0.13L/s/m²) (0.0032cfs/sq.ft).
