PLANTING NOTES
- All work shall meet or exceed the requirements as outlined in the current Edition of the B.C. Landscape Standard.
- Plant sizes and related container classes are specified according to the Current Edition of the B.C. Landscape Standard. For container classes #3 and smaller, plant sizes shall be as shown in the plant list and the Standard. For all other plants, both plant size and container class shall be as shown in the plant list. Specifically, when the plant list call for #5 class containers, these shall be as defined in the BCNTA (PVBC) standards.
- Existing irrigation system to be reinstated to new planting areas. "All Soft Landscape Areas" are to be irrigated. All irrigation and installation shall be in accordance with the irrigation industry of B.C. standards and Guidelines.
- Planting in pots to be Premium tense 'encapsulatum' (1 per pot) and Carex 'Evergold' (6 per pot).
- The Casino Site plant material is to be evaluated for plant health and filled in with plant material to match, as required. Weeds are to be removed.
- The 1680 Parking Lot site is to be cleaned up and a new line of trees is to be added to the project Site. The site to the east is to be picked for larger rocks and graded to drain, in preparation for soil and hydroseed. A new hedge and chain link fence will screen the parking from Wilfert and prevent people from cutting across to the Casino Site. The existing hedge material will be used as much as possible and relocated or filled as required.

- STAMPED COLORED CONCRETE: To match existing sidewalks. Pattern = Ashlar Slate, Colour = Grey.
- UNIT CONCRETE PAVERS: Abbotsford Concrete Products, Shape = Standard, Pattern = Ashlar Slate, Colours = Ironstone 10%, Charcoal 90%.
- STAMPED ASPHALT - TYPE 1: Location = Pedestrian Walks, Pattern = Ashlar Slate, Colour = Slate.
- STAMPED ASPHALT - TYPE 2: Location = Drive Aisles, Pattern = 45° Herringbone, Colour = Sierra.
- STAMPED ASPHALT - TYPE 3: Location = Gutter, Pattern = Sailor, Colour = Compass Grey.
- THICK (RED LINES) DENOTE EXTENT OF WORK IN THIS PHASE.
- RETAIN HEDGE: Fix landscape to be weed free and fill in gaps in planting with (1) #2 pot Laurel.
- HYDROSEED EXISTING SITE: Raise out all rocks and ensure site drains to low points. Topdress with 2" of soil before applying seed.
- NEW PEDESTRIAN LETDOWN: Paving to match existing ashlar slate pattern at entry of walk.
- FENCING: 6' High Black vinyl coated chain link fence and Taxus Hedge.
