Hi Whitney,
Regarding the variance and the future subdivision, the required lot width on the proposed lot 1 would be 10m. I don't believe our Director (who is also our subdivision approving officer) would allow that – never mind what Council will approve. It's not going to be supported by staff in the current configuration, and such would have very little chance of approval. We do not permit panhandle development and that's getting to be essentially a panhandle lot with one house forward and one back. I think if you want any chance of approval you'll need to split it straight down the middle. I understand your rationale for wanting it in its current configuration, but from a neighbourhood point of view we want consistency with the other lots on the street.

Hi James, its sewer services down by the water. Do you want me to get you site plans? I don't have one emailable but I can contact my surveyor and see what we can get you.
