Dear Mayor Hill and Members of Council:
RE: 2014 WSPRS Annual General Meeting – Change of AGM Date Request
We are writing in response to your letter dated April 2, 2014 requesting to change the date for the Annual General Meeting to one that differs from the regularly scheduled Board of Director Meeting in June.
In order to accommodate your request and ensure ample time for unhurried and comprehensive discussions at the AGM we have switched the time of the Board of Directors Meeting to take place before the AGM that evening.
In the event the Board of Directors Meeting begins to run longer than anticipated, we shall adjourn and reconvene at another time if necessary to allow the AGM to begin on schedule.
The Annual General Meeting will start at 7:00PM on Thursday, June 12 with no other meeting to follow, allowing the agenda to be covered thoroughly and in an unrushed manner.
We trust this will remedy your concerns and we look forward to a productive and successful AGM.
