Thanks for getting back to me John.
When I went in to the office today I asked to speak to somebody in Engineering and was then quizzed about my concerns. I then asked to speak directly with someone from Engineering. She then called you. If there is a communication problem there I would suggest it is in the reception area of the office. 2015 is a long way away to fix the concerns of our area residents...........and even that isn't approved. This development was approved 2 years ago......or so we were told........and still we have no action. So forgive me if I put no stock in the empty words that come out of View Royal management. How the heck can you guys look at yourselves and think you are doing the right thing? Remember when I told you about the Risk Assessment on the traffic in this area and the possibility of a serious incident happening???? Well it's coming as sure as God made little green apples and as I told you before..........some hungry lawyer will love to get his hands on this and other e-mail chains.
Have a great day John..

Hi Barney I was not asked to come upstairs or I certainly would have. The pile was left there by your neighbour as part of our fall cleanup program. It should be picked up this week. I cannot answer all your questions however your road is currently budgeted for 2015 barring any changes during the 2014 budget deliberations.

Dear Sir;
I sit here again in total frustration over the lack of action by the Town of View Royal. I have phoned...........gone into the office........and no one from your department.......NO ONE.... has spoken with me. I always have to deal with a "message taker". Today was no exception. The girl on the front counter phoned YOU....... and you wouldn't even come and speak with me. So this is my last "long distance" effort.

Drive down Old Island Highway and turn right onto Burnett Road. Immediately on the right side is a huge pile of leaves and branches and a new speed limit sign. Walking there is impossible. Anybody walking their pet or just walking to catch a bus is taking a real risk, especially at night. If a car comes around the corner there is nowhere to go. There are no sidewalks in this area of View Royal. Walking down the road to Pheasant Lane and then to the Dog Park is getting just as bad. There are no sidewalks to get away from traffic.......only a big ditch......Oh did I mention that already? Am I getting through yet? NO FRIGGIN SIDEWALKS...........JUST DITCHES.!!!!!!
I can't finish my front yard development because I was asked not to do that as the sidewalk has yet to be done here. I've been here since 2006. That's seven years. I think that's long enough......don't you? What's happening regarding sidewalks in this area? Don't give us any of your political double speak either. Is it in the budget.......which year? How come you have the money to buy up Hydro properties but nothing toward "traffic calming" or sidewalk development in this area? That's what we were told the last time we were at a council meeting........"there is no money in the budget for that (sidewalks and speed bumps)"..........shortly after I read in the paper that View Royal was after some property that Hydro was selling off.
You folks down there are doing a great job of pissing the electorate off. If your efforts were half as good at giving us some positive resolution to these concerns, the citizens would not be this restless.
There's an election coming and if you're waiting for that, I guarantee you there will be some very interesting candidate meetings.
I'd really appreciate some answers and I'd appreciate them quickly. Enough of your delay.. delay... delay... tactics.
On the ball or on the bus boys!
