To whom it may concern,
I understand you will be holding an open house on Monday November 15th, 2021 to share and discuss the idea of increasing the Town of View Royal council by 2 more members. Unfortunately, I will not be able to attend the open house or the next night when it is discussed at the council meeting, but I would still like to be able to contribute my thoughts on the matter. I read through the documents you provided online and I do believe that now is the time to increase the council membership as our community is growing and better representation is needed. I agree with the reports that this will enable the ability to better distribute the work load for council members, as well as provide more citizens the opportunity to run for council and hear a wider range of perspectives from within the community. View Royal has changed immensely since it’s incorporation and will continue to grow, in order to provide the best for our community it is time for council to grow as well. Thank you for your time and consideration in this matter.
