Mayor and Council,
We have read the Council Report entitled Consideration of Increase to Council Size and are still not convinced that this is in the best interests or needs of View Royal. The only true way to determine if such a change is desired by the majority of View Royal residents would be to put it to a referendum vote at the next election. Bringing this in now with limited involvement by the majority of View Royal residents due to the Pandemic is like sneaking something in the backdoor. If you truly believe you have the support then put it to the test otherwise it appears you are afraid of the answer and hence are serving your interest over the voters.
