Hello View Royal Mayor and Council,
From all of us at Green Teams of Canada, we wish you and your families a wonderful new year! Thank you for a wonderful partnership, we look forward to working with you again in 2022!
This past year the Greater Victoria Green Team worked throughout the pandemic, delivering safe and fun environmental action activities to the community. In total we organized 27 activities in 20 natural areas, engaging over 700 volunteers who helped to remove 240 cubic metres of invasive plants and plant 500 native trees and shrubs. In 2022, we expect to organize even more activities, engaging more community members throughout the region.
Please find attached the summary of Green Teams of Canada's accomplishments in 2021 as well as the final report for our activities in View Royal.
Best wishes for a happy and healthy new year,
-- Amanda Evans (she/her) Director of Programs and Partnerships, Green Teams of Canada 250-686-7123 | amanda@greenteamscanada.ca
