Message: Myself and several others living around and using the intersection of Helmken and Bunrside hve a big concern. I am sure that this complaint has been reported many times prior. It is my position that the municipality of View Royal is obligated to inform it's residence affected by this daily problem. What we need to know is how the road and traffic lights will be changed to accommodate the hundreds of new vehicles using this intersection. View Royal approved (some time ago) the Apt complex under construction at this intersection. COMMUNICATION with the tax payers is required now more than ever. A CURRENT study is required that includes spending some time viewing the location throughout the day. I have asked your engineering Dept. for answers and was told to contact Saanich as fthey are responsible forr the roads in this area. This does not fly with me and many others. We pay our property taxes to View Royal. View Royal approved the huge building soon to be occupied. This is an urgent issue for many. At times I can not reach my residence due to traffic many blocks long. I would appreciate a phone call with any questions you have of me..
