2024 Grants in Aid
a) THAT the Committee recommend to Council that $50,000.00 from Grants in Aid funds be allocated for School District No. 61 to provide the school crossing guard program for View Royal Elementary School and Eagle View Elementary School for the 2024/2025 school year. (COW-19-24)
b) THAT the Committee recommend to Council that the application for a 2024 Grant in Aid from the Juan de Fuca Performing Arts Centre Society be approved in the amount of $2,000.00. (COW-20-24)
c) THAT the Committee recommend to Council that the application for a $7,500.00 2024 Grant in Aid from the Peninsula Streams Society be declined. (COW-21-24)
d) THAT the Committee recommend to Council that the application for a 2024 Grant in Aid from the Capital Region Food and Agriculture Initiatives Roundtable be approved in the amount of $500.00. (COW-22-24)

n) THAT the Committee recommend to Council that the application for a 2024 Grant in Aid from the Westshore Primary Care Society be approved in the amount of $30,000 for a one-time doctor recruitment project. (COW-31-24)
2023-2026 Strategic Plan
a) THAT the Committee recommend to Council that the 2023-2026 Strategic Plan be approved in principle;

View Royal Park Saltwater Marsh Alternative Grant Funding
a) THAT the Committee recommend to Council approval to commence the View Royal Park Saltwater Marsh Project in partnership with Peninsula Streams Society, funded by the Peninsula Streams Society be approved;
AND THAT staff be directed to collaborate with the Peninsula Streams Society to ensure proper permitting is granted and that the works adhere to the View Royal Park Master Plan. (COW-33-24)
