View Royal Elementary 2024 Fun Fair Event Report
Friday, June 7, 2024
SUMMARY
The View Royal Elementary PAC would like to sincerely thank the Town of View Royal for their contribution of $500 towards our 2024 Fun Fair. A special thank you to Councillors Alison MacKenzie and John Rogers for volunteering and to Damian Kowalewich for attending this event with his family.
EVALUATION OF EVENT
The Fun Fair was an amazingly successful event. We had beautiful weather, plenty of volunteers, many children & their families attended and over 10 fun-filled stations for all to enjoy. All stations were run by parent & community volunteers (about 80 volunteers).
The event created a sense of community within the school as well as celebrating another successful year at View Royal Elementary. The cost to attend the event was free, with the exception of food. The View Royal PAC provided no-cost meals to any family that asked. Food was offered by pre-order online and at the event. We sold out of almost everything.

- The View Royal PAC Executive & School Administration worked many hours to plan and organize the event.

EVALUATION OF DIRECT AND INDIRECT BENEFITS TO THE TOWN OF VIEW ROYAL
The PAC’s objective was to provide a safe, fun and engaging event for students and their families of View Royal Elementary School and build community spirit. The Fun Fair brings families together for a night of fun to celebrate the end of the school year. It is a much-anticipated annual event that increases the community’s connection to the school and allows families to have a fun, affordable night out with friends. We feel we hit this goal out of the park!
There are very few family-friendly events each year in View Royal. The Town of View Royal has two elementary schools within its boundary, so this event supported approximately half of all elementary school-aged children and their families living in the Town of View Royal.
