Details of item to be added: Reduce View Royal's participation in CRD Arts from Group 1 to Group 2. Group 1 is the "core" ($123k for 2024). Group 2 are mostly Westshore (average $33k for 2024). Further once done, the difference ($90k/ year) would go to a new reserve supporting an Arts Centre for the Westshore. Lastly, that we encourage all Westshore municipalities to do the same (Group 2 to CRD Arts and establish a similar reserve or Westshore Arts Centre.) (if Colwood and Langford join Group 2, there is not net loss to CRD Arts funding when we go to Group 2).
