TOWN OF VIEW ROYAL BYLAW NO. 1141
A BYLAW TO AMEND THE FEES AND CHARGES BYLAW NO. 958, 2016 PERTAINING TO BUILDING AND DEVELOPMENT APPLICATION FEES
The Council of the Town of View Royal, in open meeting assembled, enacts as follows:
CITATION
- This Bylaw may be cited as “Fees and Charges Bylaw No. 958, 2016, Amendment Bylaw No. 1141, 2024”.
AMENDMENTS
Fees and Charges Bylaw No. 958, 2016 is amended as follows:
a) by deleting the following wording in its entirety in the table titled “Building” in Schedule A:

| $10,001 - $100,000 | $100 plus 1.25% of amount | |
| $100,001 - $500,000 | $1,288 plus 1% of amount | |
| Over $500,000 | $5,288 plus 0.75% of amount | |
| Application fee at submission (non-refundable) | 25% of total permit fee. Minimum $100 |
b) by adding the following wording to the table titled “Building” in Schedule A as follows:

| $1,001 - $100,000 | For cost of construction in excess of $1,000 and less than or equal to $100,000 the fee shall be $100 for the first $1,000 plus 1.25% of the amount or part thereof for the next $99,000 | |
| $100,001 - $500,000 | For cost of construction in excess of $100,000 and less than or equal to $500,000, the fee shall be $1338.00 for the first $100,000 plus 1% of the amount or part thereof for the next $400,000 | |
| Over $500,000 | For cost of construction in excess of $500,000, the fee shall be $5,338 plus 0.75% of the amount or part thereof over $500,000 | |
| Application fee at submission (non-refundable) | 25% of total permit fee. Minimum $100 |
c) by adding the following item detail and fee immediately after item detail “Public Hearing Deposit” in the table titled “Development Services” in Schedule A as follows:
