Councillor Rogers,
Thank you for viewing the Arbutus tree that overhangs my house at 32 Falstaff Place on March 4.
I understand that you were escorted into my yard by one of the members of our strata council, Maryann Motz. The Arbutus tree, which originates from View Royal property, is a serious safety hazard. Most of the tree overhangs my property and it is leaning more and more each year. It is a danger to my family and my house.
The tree was inspected during the summer of 2011 by View Royal staff and it was noted that the tree was a problem, but nothing has been done to date. I would sincerely appreciate any effort that you can provide in getting the tree removed.
Thank you again for taking the time to personally inspect the degree to which the tree is leaning over my house, as a picture does not adequately show the seriousness of the situation.
Sincerely,
Glen Weimer
