Dear View Royal Council,
I live just up the hill from View Royal School. The crossing guard helps me cross Helmcken road safely every day. It's a very busy road! Please vote to keep the crossing guards so me and my friends can stay safe!

Dear View Royal Town Council,
We need a crossing guard to keep us safe. I like coming to school and I want to get there safely. She tells us when to cross or not cross. When she teaches us how to cross the street it will be easier to cross the street when we are older. Please vote to keep the crossing guard.

Dear View Royal Town Council,
We need a crossing guard to keep us safe from cars. Crossing guards keep us safe because they stop the cars so the children can cross and so the drivers can see the children easily. I take the bus to school and the first person who says "hi" to me when I arrive is the crossing guard. That makes me feel welcomed. Please vote to keep our crossing guard.

Dear View Royal Town Council,
We need a crossing guard not only for our safety, for yours too. Please can we keep our crossing guard? Because if we accidentally walk into a road then they say stop to the car and we stay safe.

DEAR Town Council,
Please keep the crossing guard for safety & so the kids can have a safe life. They deserve a crossing guard. The little kids need to have an adult to supervise them going across the street safely. The kids could get hurt or die and they don't deserve that. All of the classes at View Royal deserve to have a safe life.

Dear View Royal Town Council,
We don't wanna lose our crossing guard because she stops cars from crashing into us.
From, Sammy Grade 2, View Royal Elementary
Dear VR councillors,
Please help our school keep its crossing guard. We are afraid that we will be run over without our crossing guard. Kids are short and often cars can't see them. Drivers are often distracted and don't see the flashing light at our crosswalk half the time. Drivers are also going too fast past our school. We need a crossing guard to help us cross the street to and from school safely.
Sincerely, Div. 5, View Royal Elem. (gr. 3)
