Staff Recommendation:
THAT Council approve the request for the removal of the two (2) trees at 48 Demos Place.

Recommendations:
- Grant-in-Aid for Capital Region Beekeepers’ Association
- THAT the Committee recommends to Council that a $150 grant-in-aid be authorized to the Capital Region Beekeepers’ Association from the unallocated 2010 Grant-in-Aid funds for the expenses related to the West Shore Earth Day event.(COW-30-10)
- Temporary Commercial Use Permit No. 2010/03– 2429 Chilco Road – Construction Site Office Trailer
- THAT the Committee recommends to Council that Temporary Commercial Use Permit 2010/03 for the use of a mobile site office trailer at 2429 Chilco Road be considered for approval at the June 1, 2010 Council meeting subject to noticing as per the requirements of the Local Government Act;
AND THAT the permit includes the following condition:
- that the permit be valid from its issuance until June 1, 2012.(COW-31-10)
- 286 Wilfert Road – Development Permit No. 2010/06
- THAT the Committee recommends to Council that Development Permit 2010/06 for 286 Wilfert Road be considered for approval at the June 1, 2010 Council meeting subject to:
- noticing of property owners and occupants of properties within 100m of the subject property as required by the Local Government Act and Development Procedures Bylaw No. 730, 2009;
- modification of the landscape plan to include split rail fencing along the proposed trail system.
AND THAT Development Permit 2010/06 include:
- A condition that Section a 219 covenant be registered on title with respect to the strata’s obligation to ensure the driveway is clear and free of ice or snow and that the driveway not be used for the parking of vehicles;
- Variance to the required number of RV parking spaces specified by Land Use Bylaw, 1990, No. 35 from 0.25 per unit to 0.(COW-32-10)

THAT there is a need to have a meeting closed to the public and persons other than the immediate members of Council, officers and employees of the Town, and those identified under Section 91 (2) of the Community Charter shall be excluded on the basis of Section 90 (1)(e) of the Community Charter.
