Staff Recommendation: THAT Council approve Development Permit 2010/18 subject to:

  • Redesign of the storm water detention area as a rain garden;
  • Determination of the scope of the frontage works contribution required; and
  • Issuance of the Development Permit be subject to approval of the Ministry of Environment.

b) Support for the Participation in the “Shakeout BC” Drill

Staff Recommendation: THAT Council approves staff participation in the “Great British Columbia ShakeOut” drill on January 26, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. as outlined in this report.

c) Temporary Sign Permit for the Coho Condominiums

Staff Recommendation: THAT Council approve the issuance of a Temporary Sign Permit 2010-02 for the Coho Condominiums to be placed on the property at 1701 Island Highway as per the plans attached to the November 2, 2010 staff report from the Senior Planner subject to there being a minimum of 2.4m clearance below the sign panels and the Permit being valid until June 30, 2012.

d) JEPP Funding Application – 2010/2011
