   • Removal of Trees at 48 Demos Place

     1. THAT Council table approval of the removal of the three (3) trees at 48 Demos Place pending the following points:
        1. clarification of a soil deposit permit and future plans regarding fill and design on the property;
        2. photos of the property and trees in question; and

   • Tree Bylaw

     1. THAT Council proceed with first, second and third reading of draft Tree Protection Bylaw No. 695, 2009 at the January 19, 2010 Council meeting with amendments as discussed at the January 12, 2009 Committee of the Whole Meeting. (COW-06-10)

   • Official Community Plan Review Options Report

     1. THAT Council approve the Working Draft Vision Statement in principle; AND THAT Council direct that a draft Official Community Plan be prepared on the basis of Option 3, a Town Centre with Neighbourhood Nodes, as outlined in the Director of Development Services’ staff report dated January 6, 2010.    • Road Design Concept for Watkiss Way, Helmcken Road, Burnside Road, Conard Street

     1. THAT Council endorse the road concept designs prepared between August-December 2009 by Bunt & Associates Engineering (BC) Ltd. for Watkiss Way, Helmcken Road, Burnside Road and Conard Street. (COW-08-10)

   • Admirals Road Corridor Study

     1. THAT Council direct staff to request the following changes to the Ministry’s Draft Admirals Road Corridor Study:
        • Separate bicycle and vehicle lanes are provided along the entire length of the study area.
        • All vehicle lanes be kept to a maximum width of 3.3 metres to encourage a reduction in driving speed.
        • Sidewalks be included on both sides of Admirals Road for the entire length of the study area. (COW-09-10)
