Bonjour Mitzi,

I am very ill with the flu, so I will not be able to attend the Town Council meeting tonight. My husband George has agreed to go in my place-

We are 150-200 homes in a horseshoe shaped secluded Village surrounded by forest. I was able to knock so far on 44 doors before I got ill, to talk to my neighbours.

The people of my Village are so angry that you, as our MLA, are not fighting for us- You may listen to your people’s concern, but you are not by your people’s side fighting. Your government overturned a 1996 protocol between the Province and UBCM that committed the recognition of local government authority. Now I understand why Government does not want to Amalgamate the 13 municipalities: divide and conquer.

I am very worried of the future of our communities, if we are being muzzled to become voiceless-

It is unacceptable to place an industrial facility in a residential neighbourhood-

With warm regards,
