BYLAW NO. 1064

A BYLAW TO PROVIDE TAX EXEMPTION FOR A CULTURAL CENTRE

The Council of the Town of View Royal, in open meeting assembled, enacts as follows:

1. This Bylaw may be cited for all purposes as “Tax Exemption Bylaw (Cultural Centre) No. 1064, 2020.”

2. The following properties, excluding that proportion of the said lands and improvements that may at any point during the period of exemption be deemed to be used for profit purposes, are hereby declared exempt from taxation for the years 2021 to 2030 inclusive, pursuant to Section 224(2)(a) of the Community Charter:

   a) Parcel Identifier: PID 004-910-010; Lot 1, Section 2; Plan VIP11919 Roll Number: 401-03668.021; Owner: Province of British Columbia, leased to Victoria Highland Games Association

   b) Parcel Identifier: PID 030-449-499; Lot A, Section 2; Plan EPP55121; Roll Number: 401-03668.022; Owner: Province of British Columbia, leased to Victoria Highland Games Association
