Dear Municipal Councillors,
We are residents at Village Grove, 278 Island Highway. Our concern with the temporary installation of a real estate sales office/trailer is where it will be sited.
During ongoing construction at the 280 Island Highway site, safe ingress and egress from our roadway is often impeded by workers and construction vehicles obstructing safe sight lines. We strongly request that Council ensures the trailer is close to the building and at the west side of the site.
We were frustrated that Council did not require the building parkade entrance be moved to the west side of the site instead of right beside our roadway.
We are on a slope and do not have a proper holding lane. It will be an even greater challenge to enter or exit the highway once the project is occupied.
