Appendix 3: OCP Children and Youth Comments
OCP Youth Input as it relates to View Royal Park
The Town Of View is currently undergoing a review of their Official Community Plan (OCP). As part of that review, Town staff and members of the CitySpaces Consulting team held workshops with Grade seven and eight students from Shoreline Community School in October and November 2009. The purpose was to elicit ideas from View Royal's youth on how to improve the Town of View Royal and to create a more youth-friendly community. From those sessions a list was produced from the items brought forward by the students. It is felt that the ideas expressed in the area of Recreation and Entertainment would be relevant to the development of the Masterplan for View Royal Park.
