   Staff Recommendation: THAT Council approve a one year extension to the current Members Agreement, Co-Owners Agreement, and Operating Agreement to December 31, 2012, and that the Mayor and Corporate Officer be authorized to execute all documentation related to the extensions.

   • Thetis Lake Park - Issues
     1. THAT the Committee recommend to Council that a letter be sent to Capital Regional District (CRD) Parks requesting the CRD Parks staff work with the Town of View Royal staff on current issues, enforcement options and future initiatives to reinstate a family-oriented atmosphere at Thetis Lake Regional Park (COW-62-11)
   • RFP for Fire Dispatch Service for View Royal and Colwood Fire
     1. THAT the Committee recommend to Council that the Fire Chief of the Town of View Royal be authorized to, in cooperation with the City of Colwood Fire Chief, proceed with the issuance of a Request for Proposal for the provision of Fire Dispatch Services for both municipalities. (COW-63-11)
   • Regional Electrical and Fire Safety Inspection Program
     1. THAT the Committee recommend to Council that the CRD Board be requested to assess the merits of creating a regional fire and electrical safety inspection program. (COW-64-11)
   • Minutes of the Parks, Recreation and Environment Advisory Committee meeting held September 27, 2011 1900 Watkiss Way – Rezoning/OCP Amendment Application
     1. THAT the Committee recommend that Council that the recommendations from the Parks, Recreation and Environment Advisory Committee regarding the rezoning/OCP amendment application for 1900 Watkiss Way be referred to staff. (COW-65-11)
