Message: I am expressing my complaint about the excessive lighting that we experience from the car lots on the Old Isl. Highway. We live in the new Coho buildings up on the hill and the lights coming from these car lots shine straight up here all night long taking away our needed darkness at night. I know that their are new bylaws in effect for lighting in View Royal but what about new developments being harassed by our right to healthy living conditions. Do we just have to put up with this permanently? We are 93 units paying a lot of taxes to your municipality and we should have rights those same rights. I find it impossible to believe that their is no solution for these businesses to be good neighbors. I have been dealing with this for several months now and my quality of sleep is diminished and most nights sleep in a different room because of this. This is such a small problem for the car lots in question to fix, we could also be their customers and we do generate lots of new revenue for all. I would appreciate being taken seriously and would invite you to come up here after midnight when the lumens from these lights are at their brightest.

Thank you for your time.
