a) Tree Removal Application – 18 Amber Place

  1. Report dated March 22, 2016 from the Parks Supervisor Staff Recommendation: THAT Council approve the removal of one (1) tree at 18 Amber Place as requested; AND THAT as per the Town's Tree Protection Bylaw No. 695, that two (2) trees be replanted (2:1 ratio) for this one (1) tree to be removed with the requirement.

  • Global Warming/Green House Gases THAT the Committee recommend to Council that Judith Cullington, City of Colwood, and Fred Wissemann, President, Victoria Electric Vehicle Club be invited to a Joint Advisory Committee meeting scheduled for May 24, 2016 to discuss the City of Colwood's climate action initiatives and the March 3, 2016 letter entitled "An Open Letter on Climate Change to British Columbia Municipalities" re: "Accelerating the Electrification of the Transportation Sector" respectively. b) Minutes from the Community Development Advisory Committee meeting held March 22, 2016

  • McKenzie Interchange Project THAT the Committee recommend to Council that the Community Development Advisory Committee proceed to investigate the promotion of alternative modes of transportation during the McKenzie Interchange Project while considering impacts and public education of the safe use of public trails.
