2016 Five Year Financial Plan and Property Tax Rate Bylaws

RECOMMENDATION:

THAT Council introduce and give first, second, and third reading to Bylaw No. 945, Financial Plan Bylaw No. 945, 2016;

AND THAT Council introduce and give first, second, and third reading to Bylaw No. 946, Property Tax Rate Bylaw No. 946, 2016.

I concur with the recommendation.

PURPOSE OF REPORT:

To give the first three readings to the Financial Plan and Tax Rate Bylaws.

BACKGROUND:

On April 19, 2016 Council approved the 2016 – 2020 Five Year Financial Plan. This Financial Plan has been used for the purposes of compiling the bylaw.

It is now in order for Council to consider the Five Year Financial Plan Bylaw and the Property Tax Rate Bylaw for 2016.

RECOMMENDATION:

AND THAT Council introduce and give first, second, and third reading to Bylaw No. 946, Property Tax Rate Bylaw No. 946, 2016.
