Council voted to move forward with application to the MNAI program to enhance internal capacity for environmental asset valuation and climate planning.
"The motion was introduced to formally express interest in the low-cost ($850) MNAI program to build staff capacity for valuing natural assets, particularly timely as the OCP review is pending. While the CAO expressed concern about staff capacity, Council unanimously supported the motion, viewing the program as foundational for climate resilience and cost-effective long-term planning."
