Development Permit No. 2024-06 - 4 Helmcken Road (SSMUH)

Council approved a plan for a new four-unit housing development on Helmcken Road.

"This is the first project under the new Provincial SSMUH regulations. Councillor Rogers expressed concern about the lack of public notice for neighbors and the concentration of 'noise' (patios, garbage) on the east side neighbor. Mayor Tobias praised it as a form of gentle densification."
