Following repeated complaints about poor property maintenance at three residences, Council directed staff to send a formal, strong letter to the property owner demanding immediate compliance with the Town's Property Maintenance Bylaw.
"The Director of Protective Services (Bylaw) reported 35 complaints in 2025 related to the area (mostly construction worker parking), but noted limited direct property maintenance complaints to date. Council decided to bypass standard bylaw escalation and immediately directed staff to draft a formal letter to the owner, informing them that Council is aware of the situation and expects immediate remediation."
