Procedure Bylaw No. 677, 2007, Amendment Bylaw No. 1155, 2025 A Bylaw to Amend Procedure Bylaw No. 677, 2007 (adoption)

Council adopted the amendment to the Procedure Bylaw, changing the regular Council meeting start time to 6:00 p.m. Councillor Lemon opposed.

"The main point of contention was the change of the regular Council meeting start time from 7:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Councillor Lemon opposed the change, stating it would be 'surprising' and disruptive for residents accustomed to the later time. Proponents argued the earlier start would allow meetings to conclude sooner, improving the quality of decision-making late at night."
